To whom it may concern:
On November 28, 2017 there was a change of some ownership of Storm-Tex Services, LLC.
There are now five partners, each holding 20% of the company. The names of the new owners, along with founding owner Brad Flack, are RC Caviness, Joe Mattingly, Brian Rodel and Jim Winter. Part of the reason for the change in ownership was to bring Storm-Tex Services, LLC into the family of Double Oak Companies. By aligning with Double Oak Construction and Double Oak Erosion, Double Oak Storm Tex can now offer more services to its clients while also handling the compliance and permitting for the clients of the other 2 companies.

The previously existing estimates, invoices, contracts, and agreements all remain unchanged with regards to pricing or terms. In fact, because we are still legally Storm-Tex Services, LLC, we have also retained the same Federal EIN of 46-1015547. There is a new payment remit address, which is PO Box 979 Waller, TX 77484. Payments can be made to Storm-Tex Services or to Double Oak Storm Tex, whichever appears on the invoice that was sent to you.

Storm-Tex President Brad Flack to Receive the IECA’s Young Professional of the Year Award

Posted by on Dec 11, 2014 in recognition, storm water | 0 comments

The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) will present the award this February during the Environmental Connection Conference in Portland, known as the “The World’s Largest Soil and Water Event.”

PRLogDec. 9, 2014SPRING, TexasOn December 2 2014, the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) announced the winner of theYoung Professional of the Year Award via email, sent to Brad Flack (CPESC, CESSWI), President of Storm-Tex Services of Spring Texas.

IECAIECA’s annual conference draws thousands of professionals in the erosion and sediment control industry from around the world each year, and Flack said he was honored just to be nominated, let alone to win the award.

The Environmental Connection Conference is a 4-day event that provides peer–reviewed education, products and technology which address four educational tracks:

  • Erosion and Sediment Control
  • Stormwater Management
  • Surface Water Restoration
  • MS4 Management

Environmental Connection 2015 will be a co-located event with the Industrial Fabrics Association International’s Geosynthetics 2015. Attendees will have access to both associations’ educational offerings.

The IECA is devoted to helping members solve the problems caused by erosion and its byproduct-sediment. The organization is made up of 2,500 members who specialize in stormwater management and natural resource protection.

Brad Flack, President Storm-Tex ServicesAccording to Flack “It’s an honor to have been nominated and even more so to have been chosen as the award winner. The IECA is a key piece of my success as a professional. The educational content, the professional networking, and the public platform give me an edge up over my competitors. To be acknowledged for hard work and giving back to the storm water and erosion control industry is the icing on the cake.”

Storm-Tex Services helps companies manage storm water, create stormwater prevention plans, and manage city and state stormwater permits. Flack has achieved several professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Controls (CPESC) as well as his designation as a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), lending his experience and training to his customers to consult them in all of their storm water needs.

Through Storm-Tex Services he is encouraging his staff to also study and achieve these and other certifications. Ron Mollard, the company’s Houston Area Senior Project Manager, Mike Zarro, the Operations Manager, and Vera Atkinson, EIT, have all earned the designation Certified Stormwater Inspector (CSI) from the National Stormwater Center, while Central Texas Project Manager James Wilson has (like Flack before him) earned CPESC and CESSWI designations.
